When life feels like Stop, Go, or Limbo

September has felt like a dance between stop, go, and everything in between. Some days move forward with momentum, others seem to stall towards a dead end, and many land somewhere in limbo. It’s unsettling, but also deeply human and life rarely flows in a straight line.

This month carried the weight of shifting energies. With two powerful eclipses and the equinox in the mix, it’s no wonder the air has felt charged with change. These cosmic markers remind us that cycles are always turning, whether we’re ready or not. They ask us to pause, to notice and to move with the flow instead of against it.

For me, that hasn’t been easy. The behind-the-scenes work of the Autumn Series has filled my days: coordinating practitioners, shaping content, finalising details that will hold the experience together. It’s exciting, but at times overwhelming—especially on the days when everything feels like it’s moving all at once, or not at all.

What has carried me most this month are the unexpected acts of kindness along the way. Small messages of encouragement, thoughtful words from those who couldn’t attend this time but still cheer from the sidelines, even simple check-ins that remind me this work matters. These moments have been fuel on the harder days. And when an enquiry turns into someone eager to join us next spring, it feels like a quiet confirmation that the path is unfolding exactly as it should.

Limbo teaches patience. It strips back the illusion of control and asks us to sit in the space between effort and outcome. At first, that space feels uncomfortable, even wasteful, like we’re standing still. But in truth, it’s where clarity begins to take root.

Decluttering earlier this summer prepared me for this. By paring life down to essentials, I made room for both focus and rest. That practice now echoes in my work: clearing, refining, trusting that what remains is enough. The same way we sort through cupboards and papers, life invites us to sort through the noise of distractions, obligations and old habits that weigh us down.

I’ve realised To-Do lists can be deceiving. They give the impression that we are in control, that we can tick our way toward completion. But the truth is, things fall into place gradually -piece by piece – when the timing is right. The pause between actions is just as important as the action itself.

So if you, too, feel caught between stop and go, remember this: the in-between is not wasted. It’s the fertile ground where alignment grows quietly, unseen, until the moment it’s ready to bloom.

Even in the uncertainty, life and alignment has a way of showing us we are exactly where we need to be. Sometimes that clarity comes in small moments, a deep breath, a cup of tea, a walk outside, or stopping to truly notice the roses along the path. These little acts of presence help us ground, adjust, and move forward with gentle awareness.

✨ The Autumn Series this October carries that same reminder: to pause, reconnect, and allow yourself to both Connect and Create with intention
