Where is the retreat located, and how do I get there?
All our retreats are hosted at different locations.
The full venue location, arrival and travel information will be provided on the individual retreat page and in your Welcome Pack.
Are airport transfers or transportation included in the retreat package?
Travel and airport transfers are not included unless specifically stated or requested by you.
Transfer options may be available for retreats; please check the event information or contact us.
What is included in the retreat ticket price?
Inclusions vary between retreats.
Full details of sessions, meals, materials, accommodation where applicable, and any additional inclusions will be clearly stated on the individual retreat page and booking information.
Are there any additional costs I should be aware of?
Any optional extras or additional services available during a retreat will be clearly stated on the individual event page or in your booking information.
What type of accommodation is provided?
Accommodation arrangements vary between retreats. It may be included in the retreat price or can be booked separately with the host venue.
Room types, availability and booking arrangements will be clearly stated for you to choose from.
Are the activities suitable for beginners or those with limited experience?
Yes. No previous experience is required unless specifically stated for an individual retreat. We welcome a range of experience levels and encourage everyone to work within their own abilities.
Will there be free time to explore the surroundings or relax?
Yes. Our retreat schedules include time for rest, reflection and enjoying the surroundings, this is actively encouraged.
The amount of free time will vary depending on the retreat programme.
Can I participate in all the activities, or are they optional?
Your participation is always your choice. We encourage you to listen to your body, work at your own pace and speak with a practitioner if you need support or wish to step away from an activity.
Food intolerances/Allergies
Our retreats offer vegetarian food unless otherwise stated. Please disclose all food allergies and dietary requirements when booking. Serious food intolerances must be provided in writing within the timeframe stated in your booking information so we can confirm whether they can be safely accommodated.
Will there be Wi-Fi or a chance to disconnect entirely?
Wi-Fi availability varies between venues and will be confirmed in your Welcome Pack. We encourage guests to disconnect during the retreat, and phones and smartwatches are not permitted during group sessions unless required for an pre-agreed reason.
What should I pack for the retreat (clothing, equipment, personal items)?
What to bring will depend on the location, activities and time of year. A full packing list, including any clothing or equipment required, will be provided in your Welcome Pack.
Is the retreat suitable for someone traveling alone?
Absolutely. Many of our guests attend independently and our retreats are designed to create a welcoming and supportive group environment.
What behaviour is expected during a retreat?
We ask all guests to treat fellow participants, practitioners, venue staff and the property with respect. Behaviour that threatens the safety, wellbeing or privacy of others, or repeatedly disrupts the retreat experience, may result in a participant being asked to leave without refund.
Are there any payment plans or discounts available (e.g., for early bird bookings)?
Payment arrangements, deposits, early-booking offers or payment plans vary between retreats and will be stated on the individual event page. Please contact us if you have any questions before booking.
What is your cancellation or refund policy?
All retreat tickets, deposits and payments made to Hummingbird Moth Retreats are non-refundable unless otherwise expressly stated in the individual booking terms. If you are unable to attend, you may be permitted to transfer your place to another person, subject to the transfer conditions and deadline stated in your booking information. We strongly recommend appropriate visas, travel and medical insurances to protect you against circumstances that may prevent you from attending.
What happens if Hummingbird Moth Retreats changes or cancels a retreat?
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to a retreat programme, including practitioners, activities, meals or venue, where necessary. If we cancel a retreat, you will be offered a transfer to another retreat where possible or a refund of payments made directly to Hummingbird Moth Retreats, subject to the applicable booking terms. We are not responsible for additional costs such as travel, accommodation or other personal expenses.
What happens if circumstances outside your control affect the retreat?
Occasionally, events beyond our reasonable control may affect a retreat, including severe weather, travel disruption, venue closure, government restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances. Where this happens, we will communicate any necessary changes as soon as reasonably possible.
